Unity Gaming Services is Unity's live service layer for games already in players' hands, offering post-launch insights that save development time and enhance the live game experience.
It bundles integrated LiveOps services including achievements, player accounts and leaderboards, and spans in-game revenue growth, backend data management, player analytics and content delivery. In-App Purchase management handles selling across multiple stores from one integration. Cloud Code runs serverless game logic without a studio operating its own servers, while Cloud Save persists player data across sessions and devices. Analytics and A/B Testing let teams measure player behaviour and compare variants against each other rather than guessing at changes.
Cloud Content Delivery handles asset management and shipping new content to a live build, and Push Notifications support re-engaging players outside the game. The services are positioned around post-launch success, giving studios operational tooling that would otherwise have to be built in-house, and teams can get started for free.
