This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy" or "AUP"), issued by Smartreview AI Pvt Ltd (CIN: U62091KA2026PTC223899), governs all access to and use of the Smartreview AI™ platform, our website (www.smartreviewai.io), the Trust-IQ Score™ system, leaderboards, certification badges, APIs, embedded widgets, review submission tools, Customer/Partner portals, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy applies to everyone who accesses or interacts with the Services, or with Smartreview AI data displayed elsewhere, whether or not you have an account. By accessing the Services, submitting content, embedding our data, displaying our badges, or undergoing evaluation, you agree to this Policy.

This Policy is incorporated into and supplements our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and — where applicable — the Customer/Partner Participation Agreement, Partner Agreement, and API Terms. Where a signed agreement conflicts with this Policy, the signed agreement controls for that party.

We may enforce this Policy at our sole discretion. Violation may result in suspension, content removal, score/certification revocation, account termination, and referral to legal or regulatory authorities.

02

General Acceptable Use (All Users)

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Policy. Across all user categories, you must not:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Access, use, or interfere with the Services in any manner not expressly authorized.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation, identity, role, or authority.
  • Upload or transmit malware, malicious code, or any material designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, penetration-test, or breach the security of the Services or the Integrity Firewall without our prior written authorization.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any authentication, verification, rate-limiting, or access-control mechanism.
  • Interfere with any other user's use of the Services, or with the integrity, availability, or performance of the Services.
03

Trust-IQ Score™ and Certification Integrity

The independence and un-gameability of the Trust-IQ Score™ is the foundation of the Services. No user of any category may take any action intended to distort, manipulate, or misrepresent a score, certification, or evaluation outcome. Specifically, you must not:

  • Manipulate reviews — Submit, solicit, incentivize, coordinate, or facilitate fake, fraudulent, duplicate, or non-genuine reviews; engage in astroturfing, review-gating, review-swapping, or the suppression of honest reviews.
  • Manipulate the audit — Provide false, forged, backdated, or misleading information, evidence, or documentation to the AI Independent Audit; misrepresent your security posture, privacy framework, organizational structure, or SDLC.
  • Attempt to influence scoring through payment or inducement — Offer, request, or accept any payment, benefit, threat, or inducement intended to alter, inflate, suppress, or bias any score, ranking, review, or certification outcome. Commercial relationships never affect scores; attempts to make them do so are strictly prohibited.
  • Reverse-engineer, probe, or game the scoring or audit models — Attempt to derive, exploit, or defeat the scoring methodology, audit logic, weighting, or thresholds for the purpose of obtaining an unearned or inaccurate result.
  • Misrepresent scores or certifications — Publicly state, imply, or display a Trust-IQ Score™, ranking, or certification status that is inaccurate, expired, revoked, or not held.

Attempted manipulation is treated the same as completed manipulation. We reserve the right to withhold, freeze, correct, or revoke any score or certification affected or attempted to be affected by conduct under this Section, and to publicly annotate or remove the associated listing.

04

Category-Specific Obligations

4.1 Website Visitors and General Users

You may view public Trust-IQ Scores™, leaderboards, and certification information for lawful, informational, and internal decision-making purposes. You must not:

  • Scrape, harvest, crawl, or bulk-extract scores, rankings, reviews, or listings by automated means except as expressly permitted via our published API or with prior written consent.
  • Frame, mirror, or republish the Services or substantial portions of our data in a manner that misrepresents the source or implies endorsement.
  • Use the Services or any output to make automated decisions about individuals in violation of applicable law.

4.2 Registered Users and Reviewers

Reviews power the Verified User Trust pillar. As a Reviewer, you represent and agree that:

  • You have genuine, first-hand experience with the product you review, and your review reflects your honest, good-faith opinion and truthful account of that experience.
  • You have no undisclosed conflict of interest — you are not affiliated with the Customer/Partner, a competitor, or any party with an interest in the score, and you have not been paid or incentivized to review (beyond disclosed, permitted mechanisms, if any).
  • You will not submit content that is defamatory, knowingly false, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or that infringes any third-party right.
  • You will not submit confidential, privileged, or personal information of others without authorization.
  • You authorize us to verify your identity and eligibility, and you understand that unverified or manipulative submissions may be rejected or removed.
  • You retain your opinions; you grant us a license to display, moderate, and use your User Content as set out in the Terms & Conditions. Reviews are your statements of opinion and experience, not statements of Smartreview AI.

4.3 Subject Customers/Partners (Evaluated / Listed)

If your software is evaluated or listed — whether or not you have enrolled — you must not:

  • Interfere with, obstruct, or retaliate against the independent evaluation, reviewers, or the audit process.
  • Submit, solicit, or coordinate reviews of your own product or a competitor's product, directly or through employees, agents, affiliates, contractors, or third parties.
  • Provide false information to, or attempt to deceive, the AI Independent Audit.
  • Demand favorable treatment, score adjustment, or listing changes in exchange for payment, partnership, or any other inducement.
  • Misrepresent your listing status or any score as an endorsement, guarantee, or certification you do not hold.

Enrollment in certification is voluntary and does not entitle you to a minimum, favorable, or guaranteed score. Fees, if any, are for the evaluation process and are entirely independent of the outcome.

4.4 Certified Customers/Partners and Badge Use

If you hold an active Certified Trust-IQ certification, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display the associated badge and score, subject to the following. You must:

  • Display only the current, accurate, and active badge, score, and certification tier, and remove or cease display immediately upon expiry, suspension, or revocation.
  • Display the badge only in its unaltered, official form; you must not modify, recolor, distort, or obscure it, or combine it with other marks in a misleading way.
  • Link the badge to your official verification page where required, so viewers can confirm authenticity.
  • Not imply that certification is a warranty, security guarantee, or endorsement of any specific outcome; certification reflects a point-in-time and continuous evaluation, not an assurance of fitness or freedom from risk.

Any use of the badge outside these terms is unauthorized trademark use.

4.5 Partners (Referral, Channel, Reseller, Integration, Data)

As a Partner, in addition to your Partner Agreement, you must not:

  • Make representations about the Services, Trust-IQ Scores™, certification, or their meaning that are inaccurate, exaggerated, or unauthorized.
  • Position or resell the Services in a way that implies you can influence, expedite, or guarantee scores or certification outcomes.
  • Use Smartreview AI data, marks, or badges beyond the scope, territory, and duration granted in your Partner Agreement.
  • Sub-license, resell, or redistribute our data except as expressly permitted.
  • Create the impression of an endorsement, joint venture, or agency relationship that does not exist.

4.6 Partner Platform Visitors

If you encounter Smartreview AI scores, badges, or data embedded on a third-party or partner platform, this Policy governs your interaction with that data. You must not scrape, alter, misattribute, or misrepresent the embedded data, and you must not rely on any score displayed without an active verification link as authentic.

4.7 API and Data Consumers

If you access data programmatically or via widgets, you must:

  • Stay within published rate limits, scopes, and authorized use cases; not aggregate, cache, or store data beyond permitted terms.
  • Not use our data, in whole or in part, to build, train, benchmark, or improve a competing scoring, rating, review, or certification product, or to create a substantially similar derivative dataset.
  • Display data accurately and without alteration, and honor deletion, correction, and refresh requirements so stale scores are not shown as current.
  • Not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data except as expressly authorized.
05

Prohibited Content

Across all submissions and communications, you must not post, transmit, or link to content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory.
  • Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or contractual rights.
  • Contains malware, or promotes illegal activity, violence, or self-harm.
  • Is spam, or is designed to manipulate rankings, scores, or search visibility.
  • Discloses trade secrets or confidential information without authorization.
06

Intellectual Property Restrictions

The Services, including the Trust-IQ Score™ name and methodology, scoring models, audit logic, leaderboards, badges, software, and content, are owned by Smartreview AI or its licensors and protected by IP laws. You must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the scoring or audit models, except to the extent this restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
  • Use our trademarks, badges, or brand elements except as expressly licensed.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice.
07

Security and Responsible Disclosure

Unauthorized security testing is prohibited (Section 02). If you discover a vulnerability, do not exploit it or access data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate it; report it promptly to contact@smartreviewai.io. Good-faith reports made in accordance with our disclosure guidelines will not be pursued as violations.

You must not attempt to access, read, or influence the Integrity Firewall, billing-to-scoring separation, or any control that preserves scoring independence.

08

Monitoring, Enforcement, and Consequences

We may — but are not obligated to — monitor use, review submissions, verify identities and evidence, and investigate suspected violations. We may use automated and manual methods, including fraud and manipulation detection.

Upon suspected or actual violation, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice: remove or annotate content or listings; reject, correct, freeze, or revoke scores or certifications; revoke badge licenses; suspend or terminate accounts, API access, or partnerships; retain evidence; and report conduct to law enforcement or regulators. These remedies are cumulative and in addition to any others available at law or under a governing agreement.

We may cooperate with the legal process and disclose information as required by law or to enforce this Policy.

09

Reporting Violations

To report suspected review manipulation, score gaming, badge misuse, prohibited content, or other violations, contact contact@smartreviewai.io with sufficient detail to allow investigation. We may act on, decline, or investigate reports at our discretion and are not obligated to disclose outcomes.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. It is your responsibility to review the current version.
