Axure RP is a UX tool for building realistic, functional prototypes, built around unlimited combinations of event triggers, conditions and actions rather than a fixed set of canned interactions.
That model lets a prototype behave like the real product: widgets support working forms and dynamic content, multi-state containers handle popups and mobile screens, and data-driven interfaces include sortable grids operating on real data. Adaptive views cover desktop, tablet and phone from the same document, so responsive behaviour can be demonstrated instead of described.
